2024 Weddings We Loved

We have flowered so many beautiful weddings this year, I feel so lucky when I look back through my camera roll!

I wanted to share some of the best weddings we’ve had the pleasure to work on over the last year, in Cornwall, Somerset, Wiltshire & Lovely Bristol.

In no specific order, here’s the weddings living rent free in my mind…

Hamswell House

This beautiful late Spring wedding at Hamswell House was a total explosion of romantic, whimsical wildflowers. A walkway of meadows down the aisle framed Rachael as she walked down the aisle to meet her new husband. At the end of the aisle she was greeted by a ground meadow of wildflower meadows sitting underneath the large ancient tree in the beautiful Hamswell House grounds. We moved all these meadow the marquee to be reused in the reception. Wonderful as always working with Caroline from The Planning Lounge.

A next favourite wedding from the team has to be…

Polhawn Fort

This summer wedding was one to remember for more than one reason, I absolutely love a wedding where there are multiple large installs. This cliffside ceremony was framed by a large triangluar frame with two large floral accents on, this transformed the Cornish coast into a scene that wouldn’t be out of place in Hawaii. The reception was held in a large clearspan marquee on the lawn of the fort, we adorned the marquee with a long floral cloud installation and hundreds of bud vases to be placed on the tables. This wedding was so much fun and working with Bree from Two Be Wed was a delight.

I love the places this job takes us, and this year has been no exception, we’ve been down in Salisbury twice at the gorgeous Larmer Tree and the ever gorgeous and tucked away Pythouse Kitchen Garden.

This brings me onto a wedding I will never forget at the gorgeous

Pythouse Kitchen Garden
I just love it when a whole vision comes together, and Sadé certainly had a gorgeous vision. We built an archway of all locally sourced english wildflowers for the couple’s nuptials in the sprawling kitchen gardens of this estate. Under the outside sailcloth dining area we suspended a large hanging flower cloud of dried and fresh mixed wildflowers and foliage, this was met with delicate bud vases of single varieties of British flowers. The food at Pythouse was some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen and smelled divine. The team was so wonderful to work with and working with the lovely Kit Myers made the day even better, see his photos below. (Last two photos are my own).

I’ll finish with a wedding filled with such colour and style, and perhaps my favourite piece of headwear this season…

Crowcombe Court

This wedding will forever be etched in my mind when I think about making a mantelpiece arrangement. Sarah & Chris married at the gorgeous Crowcombe Court this summer in a flurry of pale pinks, cornflower blues and rich tones that added a contemporary nod to their country style.

I adored being able to be daring using these rich blues and Sarah’s trust in the design and colour palette was so lovely to work with. This wedding really speaks for itself in the photos, which are absolutely stunning by the lovely Simon & Kiana.
